Stephen Hawking Warns on the Dangers of Advanced AI

This is not the first time that Stephen Hawking has warned about the dangers of advanced artificial intelligence.  Elon Musk has also expressed similar views.

Also, both Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk concur on the need for mankind to build a colony beyond our planet to guard against our complete extinction.  When two of humanity's best minds agree on two different matters, they may be onto something, and we should listen to them.

Single Sheet of Paper DYI Tablet Stand

It took me an hour of experimentation to figure out the basic design for my DIY universal tablet stand using a single sheet of bond paper without scissors. It took a few more hours to fine tune it. There is a lot of room for improvement but I have to say, it's not too bad for a few hours work.

I'm amazed that my brain can still come up with new ideas like this.  Must be because it's no longer burdened by mind numbing activities like my former job.
